Lake Aeration and Algae Control
Why control algae?
Algae are complex microorganisms that form the basis of the aquatic food web and through photosynthesis, produce oxygen.
We should never seek to completely eradicate algae, only control algae since too much of the wrong species can be severely detrimental to the balance of an ecosystem (despite being a valuable oxygen producer).
Too much algae can clog water bodies, block sunlight and even become a public health concern. The solution is to control algae and that’s where our professional range of algae inhibiting treatments and water aeration solutions come in.
